Buena Vista Baptist Church is a loving, caring, welcoming congregation with a growing vision.  Our mission is to LOVE OTHERS. SHARE CHRIST, and SERVE THE WORLD.  We give highest priority to quality worship, small groups, and ministry teams.  Members are active in the larger community.  The Buena Vista Mayor, and the School Board Chair are members, as are three members of the City Council.  The church has a strong music program, a growing youth ministry, and eight staff members.  Our worship is traditional blended and centered around the seasons of the Christian Year.  Senior adults are the largest age group in the church; youth are the fastest growing age cohort in the congregation due to the leadership of our new youth minister.  The church is completing three years of intentional interim ministry with the Center for Congregational Health.  We are members of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and affirm men and women as full partners in leadership and ministry.
